Sunset Marquis Hotel Wedding Photographer | Cyn and Stan

Hey Ho, Let’s go!! Cyn, a photographer of all sorts, originally from Plymouth, Minnesota, and Stan, a rocket scientist from Wolverhampton, England, met and fell in love. After several years of dating bliss, they decided on a Rock n’ Roll Wedding for 40 of their closest friends and the best wedding photographer in Los Angeles, eh chem. The day started early. 11am the guests and the groom loaded onto a fully loaded tour bus and headed to the Club Nokia Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. After a fully costumed wedding ceremony a la Princess Bride… “Mawidge is a dweam wiffin a dweam. The dweam of wuv wapped wiffin the gweater dweam of everwasting west. Eternity is our fwiend, wemember that, and wuv wiw fowwow you fowever.” And so on. There was a lot of dancing — bopping up and down — and a lot of Veuve Clicquot poured. The ceremony on the stage at the Club Nokia was the first of its kind, then onto a cocktail hour in the VIP bar, then a hop over to Disney Hall and a jump off to Grauman’s Chinese, back to the Sunset Marquis Hotel for another 5pm cocktail hour and then finally, a full dinner reception by the pool. A day never to forget. I, as their beloved and humble Sunset Marquis Hotel Wedding Photographer, should also mention that staying the hotel were Avril Lavigne and her crew as well as the final 8 from American Idol, all of who made it onto my long lens, despite their best efforts to hide from it. No, you can’t see them. xo
