Los Angeles Engagement Portraits

I have often said, the most important thing about any photography shoot is time of day and quality of light. You can be in the most beautiful place in the world, but if you are shooting it at noon, you are going to encounter a host of difficulties . In contrast, if you are shooting in an ugly place, but the light is gorgeous, you can get amazing photographs. This is why I always encourage wedding clients to work with their photographers and their wedding coordinators to schedule the best time of day and light for their couple’s portrait on the wedding day. There is no trick to getting amazing Los Angeles engagement portraits because the light is always amazing in LA!

Luckily for me, the engagement shoot was photographed at the right time of day, in a gorgeous place, and with amazing people. Lea and Nolan, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding this September.
